#726661 #a99d91 #cac0b6 #e4dcd2 #f86168 I'm not looking back.Escher was born in Sweden and lived there for six years. Her mother worked internationally, so she didn't bond with her as much as she did her father. A few months after Escher's 6th birthday, her mother was offered a position in America that would allow her to be around Escher more often, plus it made a fairly large income, so they said goodbye to most members of their family before setting off .
At first, Escher knew very little English, and the things she did know were hard to decipher through her very accent. For many years, the accent and frequent moving of households made it increasingly difficult to make friends. She was either picked on or ignored in her younger school years for being "weird". Escher became socially detached at an early age and preferred being around her mother and father much more. When Escher was 11 years old, she was officially a middle schooler. There were many new faces! Escher figured that she wasn't going to make any friends and turned to the internet. She became the invisible girl. Though her grades were stellar, her social skills were not. The only time in middle school she had been really recognized was when she advanced into 7th grade in the middle of her 6th grade school year. Sometimes brutal rumors were made about her. They carried with her and only snowballed until they squashed her self-esteem. Moving often gave her relief from not having to deal with the rumors anymore. She figured that she wouldn't have to deal with most problems in life if she simply didn't socialize. She moved two more times during her high school years before her parents decided on moving back to Sweden when Escher was 19. She was tempted to leave, but decided on staying in the US. Her parents gave her some money for housing and tuition before they left, but she refuses to use any of it unless there if a life-threatening emergency or if she manages to find a great college. |

She wants to keep to herself and become successful; maybe make a few greatly cherished memories along the way. More friendship would be nice; romance isn't important whatsoever.
